Bishop’s Biography

Bishop A.S. Yancy was called into the preaching ministry in 1971 and received her Missionary Evangelistic license. She was ordained by the World Wide Church of God Apostolic Faith in 1973 and thereby founded and organized United Bible Missionary Church in April 1973 in the basement of her home. A.S. Yancy’s past and current involvements include: Interdenominational Ministers Alliance, former President and President Emeritus; Metropolitan Area Church Council, board member; Billy Graham Crusade, Executive Committee; Ohio Clergy Women’s Ministries, Founder and Executive President; Livingston Avenue Partnership with Children’s Hospital and Central Benefits, former member. In addition, Bishop Yancy has taught numerous classes through the International Seminary to help Missionaries and Ministers advance their biblical studies. Bishop Yancy was consecrated in October 1998 to the office of Bishop and currently holds a Master of Theological Studies degree from Capital University.
